I grew up with numerous pets and, like many little girls, wanted to grow up and work in the veterinary field. I started working with veterinarians as a kennel assistant when I was still in high school and began learning the many aspects of the business. During the following years I worked as an assistant, a receptionist, an administrative assistant and human resource director. As an adult I decided to return to college and in 2012 I earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and went on to obtain a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management in 2017, both from Davenport University. I began working at Eastown Veterinary Clinic in July of 2015 as the Practice Manager and will be pursuing my CVPM (Certified Veterinary Practice Manager) in 2018.
On a personal note, I am married and my husband and I have three sons. We are also pet parents to two beautiful labs (Magnus and Trigger), a Dalmatian (Finn), a Shih-Tzu (Walker), and a horse named Diesel. In my spare time, which is very rare, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, listening to books, spending time on the lake, bonfires, watching movies, doing crafts and remodeling my house.
