Marissa

Marissa graduated from tech school at SoCal as valedictorian in the Spring of 2019. Before moving back to MI and joining the Eastown Veterinary Clinic team in the fall of 2019 Marissa worked in ER, specialty, and shelter medicine. She has a particular interest in working with fearful/anxious canines. 

"I love working with fearful/anxious canines. There is so much communication that occurs through their body language alone. I love being able to read them and work around their fears/anxieties to provide the best experience possible." 

At home, Marissa has 2 kiddos (River & William), 1 pit mix (Micah), 2 cats (Frankie & Peggy), and her partner, Mitch. Marissa is a patient, persistent, and positive person with an appreciation for a neat pour of bourbon. In her spare time, Marissa enjoys spending time outdoors - kayaking, gardening, and fishing.
