Veterinary Medicine was Dr. Keane’s calling from a very young age as he always had many pets and spent time on his uncle’s farm. The challenge of practicing all aspects of medicine and surgery for multiple species seemed like a career choice that would rarely be dull. He worked in different roles from kennels to reception, to an assistant before becoming a veterinarian. Dr. Keane’s areas of particular interest are anesthesia/pain control, dermatology, internal medicine, cardiology, and ultrasonography.
When out of the clinic, Dr. Keane enjoys time with his family in Michigan’s great outdoors. His hobbies include camping, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, biking, skiing, mushroom hunting, cooking, and gardening.
Dr. Keane and his wife have two young children and share their home with a cat named Chelsea.
